T-Lamp was born in Harlem New York and his energetic, fun and positive style has been heard from here to the Midwest. T-Lamp got his start as the Saturday late night announcer at WTLZ in 1989 while attending Delta College. T-Lamp quickly advanced to prime-time personality in less that a year and then was offered the afternoon drive and Music Director position by the legendary PD Kermitt Crocket at the station. While working at WTLZ he was offered to host of the #1 rated House Party at the legendary WJLB in Detroit by Steve Hegewood. For 3 years T-Lamp dominated the airways from 12am to 3am every Saturday night as club hoppers had every radio on the downtown strip electrified by his voice. In 1999 T-Lamp took on the challenge of taking the prime-time position at KMJJ in Shreveport. Within Months he took the nighttime ratings to a record level 36 share for people ages 18-34 along side his on-air partner Lee Mack. T-lamp was also the voice and Co-owner of the number #1 website for promoting urban for Musicsnippet.com. In May of 2007 Musicsnippet re-launched their website with ground breaking event located downtown Manhattan hosted by T-Lamp and Ms Info from Hot97 which featured Trey Songz and Swizz Beatz. T-Lamp loves all New York City sport teams and is a huge Track and field fan. He also loves to talk politics and specializes in history especially Hip Hop History.
