Alicia Silverstone has some unique ideas on parenting. Some might even say CRAZY.
But the latest is, she and her 11-year-old son Bear still sleep together.
She also admitted that she rarely used diapers when she potty-trained him. She just watched for his “cues” that he had to go. She called the process “elimination communication.”
Quote, “There was a period of time where I was watching him naked and watching the cues. The cues part for me was really fun because I thought that he was flirting with me because he would do this little smile. That’s when he had to pee.”
Two years ago, when Bear was 9, Alicia admitted she was still taking baths with him. She also breastfed him longer than is typical, has never had him vaccinated for anything, and doesn’t give him over-the-counter meds.
Oh, and there was that video from a decade ago, where she was pre-chewing Bear’s food, then feeding him directly from her mouth.
