This is at the Asian Gardens downtown. Someone posted a pic and info on it yesterday on the Downtown Shreveport facebook page.

There is a century plant at the Asian Gardens of Shreveport you’ve got to see. It takes a long time, 10, 20, or 30 years (but not a hundred) for the plant to bloom. It blooms only once, then dies…but don’t worry, the shoots at the bottom (as seen in this photo) take over and will grow into another a large plant. The stalk on this plant is very tall. I “guestimate” that it is close to 20 feet tall.
