Beware of a new phone scam says the Bossier Parish’s Sheriff’s Office…Dispatchers have gotten several calls from residents stating they have received a call from one of their employees..but THIS IS A SCAM! The Caller will tell you that there is an active warrant out for your arrest for Failure to Appear in court and in order for you to solve the matter quickly and not go to jail, the caller will ask for an unspecified amount of money to be paid over the phone. THIS IS A SCAM! Hang up and call 318-965-3418 at the Bossier Sheriff’s Office Criminal Division.
